Packers release WR Travis Fulgham, OT Travis Bruffy

The Packers cut two players on Wednesday.

The Green Bay Packers trimmed their roster by two on Wednesday.

The team announced the release of receiver Travis Fulgham and offensive tackle Travis Bruffy, two necessary moves with players returning from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Packers signed Bruffy as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech in April. Fulgham was claimed off of waivers from the Detroit Lions last week.

Earlier Wednesday, the Packers activated long snapper Hunter Bradley from the COVID-19 list. Outside linebacker Greg Roberts remains on the list.

The NFL requires teams to be at no more than 80 players in order to hold practices without split squads. The Packers are at 79 players, with Roberts likely to be the 80th once he’s officially activated.
