Packers postpone Thursday’s scheduled practice

The Packers are postponing Thursday’s 10:30 a.m. practice.

The Green Bay Packers announced they are postponing Thursday’s 10:30 a.m. practice at Ray Nitschke Field.

The announcement comes after the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted Wednesday night’s NBA playoff game in an effort to push forward social justice initiatives in the state of Wisconsin, where a Black man was shot by police and left paralyzed in an incident in Kenosha Sunday night.

Several playoff games and MLB games were postponed Wednesday night.

The Packers did not rule out the possibility of practicing at some point on Thursday. Several teams have already canceled practice for Thursday.

More updates will follow.
