Scoring points and avoiding turnovers are primary goals of any offense, and the Green Bay Packers have been better at doing both to start the 2020 season than any other offense in the history of the NFL.
According to Mike Spofford of the team’s official site, the Packers are the first team in league history to score at least 150 points and not have a turnover during the first four games of a season.
After four weeks, the Packers have 152 points and zero turnovers.
Matt LaFleur’s team scored 43 points against the Minnesota Vikings, 42 points against the Detroit Lions, 37 points against the New Orleans Saints and 30 points against the Atlanta Falcons, and the offense hasn’t even come close to a turnover play.
According to Pro Football Focus, Aaron Rodgers is the only starting quarterback in the NFL without a “turnover-worthy” play in 2020. The Packers have just one fumble, and it was a harmless Aaron Jones fumble out of bounds in Week 1.
The Packers are first in the NFL in points per game (38.0) and the only team without a turnover.
LaFleur’s team is 4-0 going into the bye. They’ll be tough to beat if they keep scoring a bunch of points and avoiding game-changing giveaways.
