Packers have 4 of PFF’s top 15 players entering 2021

No team had more players in PFF’s top 15 players than the Packers, who had four, highlighting the team’s elite talent.

The Green Bay Packers have more elite talent than any other NFL team, at least according to Pro Football Focus.

The Packers placed an NFL-high four players in the top 15 of PFF’s top 50 players entering the 2021 season.

Receiver Davante Adams (No. 5), quarterback Aaron Rodgers (No. 10), cornerback Jaire Alexander (No. 14) and left tackle David Bakhtiari (No. 15) all ranked in the top 15, giving the Packers more players in the top 15 than any other team.

In fact, no other team had more than two players in the top 15, so even if Rodgers – who has a rift with the organization – doesn’t return, the Packers would still be No. 1 in top-15 talent.

With Adams at No. 5 and Rodgers at No. 10, the Packers tied the Kansas City Chiefs for the most players in the top 10.

All four were fantastic in 2020.

Rodgers led the league in touchdown passes, passer rating and completion percentage and was named the NFL MVP. Adams caught 115 passes and scored 18 touchdowns and was the Packers’ first first-team All-Pro receiver since Antonio Freeman in 1998. Alexander was a second-team All-Pro and PFF’s highest-graded cornerback. Bakhtiari allowed just nine total pressures over 12 games and was an All-Pro for the fifth straight season.

The Packers did not have another player in the top 50, although running back Aaron Jones, offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins, defensive lineman Kenny Clark, edge rusher Za’Darius Smith and safeties Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage are among the best at their respective positions.
