Packers DL Dean Lowry active, TE Jace Sternberger inactive vs. Vikings

The Packers will have Dean Lowry available for Monday night’s showdown with the Vikings.

The Green Bay Packers will have every starter on offense and defense available for Monday night’s matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.

Defensive lineman Dean Lowry, the one player listed as questionable for Week 16, is officially active for the Packers. He battled an ankle injury during the week but practiced in full on Saturday.

The Packers will be without rookie tight end Jace Sternberger, who is a healthy scratch for Monday night. The third-round pick is still looking for his first NFL catch. Jimmy Graham, Marcedes Lewis and Robert Tonyan will be the three tight ends.

While offensive tackle Alex Light is inactive, veteran Jared Veldheer is active and expected to be the top backup at both offensive tackle positions.

The Packers’ inactives for Week 16:

WR Ryan Grant
RB Dexter Williams
CB Tony Brown
CB Ka’dar Hollman
OT Alex Light
OT John Leglue
TE Jace Sternberger

The Vikings will be without both top running backs. Dalvin Cook was already ruled out, and backup Alexander Mattison is inactive.

Third-stringer Mike Boone, who scored twice last week, will start at running back.

The Vikings’ inactives:

RB Alexander Mattison
RB Dalvin Cook
DT Hercules Mata’afa
G Dru Samia
OT Oli Udoh
