Auburn linebacker Owen Pappoe has announced that he will be returning for the 2022 season instead of entering the NFL draft.
He posted a graphic with the announcement on his Instagram page. He said, “Gotta finish this thing the right way! Year 4 OTW.”
He suffered an injury during the Penn State game. He returned for Auburn’s game against Ole Miss. He then missed the remainder of the season, including the Birmingham Bowl.
Pappoe joins defensive lineman Colby Wooden and EDGE defender Derick Hall in being key defensive players that are returning for 2022.
