OT Jordan Mills returns to practice; Cardinals designate him for return from IR

He has been on IR since suffering a knee injury in Week 4.

The Arizona Cardinals are getting back an offensive lineman. According to the NFL transaction report on Monday, tackle Jordan Mills returned to practice and was designated for return from injured reserve.

Mills started two games for the Cardinals after signing with the team in Week 2. He suffered a knee injury against the Seattle Seahawks and was placed on IR.

The Cardinals now have a 21-day window in which to activate him from IR. The Cardinals have five games left in the season. Justin Murray has been solid starting at right tackle so it is unknown whether Mills would enter the starting lineup upon returning. However, getting a couple of games and some practices in before the end of the season wouls allow the Cardinals to make a decision as to whether to bring him back in 2020.
