As the NBA ventures deeper into the seeding round of their highly anticipated restart, the Golden State Warriors are kicking off their extended offseason. While Golden State begins their long layoff outside of the Orlando Bubble, Warriors Wire is checking in on the 12 former Dubs at Disney World.
On Thursday, Golden State’s 2015 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player suited up for the Miami Heat’s fourth game inside the bubble.
Coming off a game where he knocked down his 1,000th career 3-pointer, Andre Iguodala matched up with Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Against the Eastern Conference’s top seed, Iguodala tallied his season-high with 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting from the field. Golden State’s former sixth man knocked down 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. Iguodala added eight assists and seven boards in 28 minutes for the Heat.
Before halftime, Iguodala threw down a vicious alley-oop dunk from Miami big man Kelly Olynyk on a fastbreak.
