Oregon’s Kayvon Thibodeaux ejected for targeting vs. Stanford

Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux was tossed from Saturday’s game against Stanford after a targeting foul

Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux was ejected from Saturday’s game against Stanford after being called for a targeting foul.

Thibodeaux was tossed after video review concluded he made a helmet-to-helmet hit on Stanford quarterback Tanner McKee in the fourth quarter, as the Cardinal mounted a potential game-tying drive against the Ducks.

Since the foul happened in the second half, Thibodeaux will miss the first half of Oregon’s next game, as well.

The top overall prospect in the 2022 NFL draft class, Thibodeaux missed time earlier in the season with a leg injury, but remains the clear-cut favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick next year.
