It was a foregone conclusion that the Oregon Ducks football team would remain No. 1 in the latest US LBM Coaches poll. The only question would be if they would be a unanimous No. 1.
The Ducks got one more first-place vote from last week but fell one vote short of being unanimous. Georgia received one first-place vote despite being 6-1 for the season after losing to Alabama earlier this season.
Teams 1-6 remained exactly the same from last week. LSU took the biggest dip, falling nine spots to No. 16 after losing to Texas A&M last night.
Speaking of the Aggies, they moved up three spots to No. 11. It seems as if Indiana (8-0) has reached its peak for some reason despite being undefeated and on top of the Big Ten standings with Oregon and Penn State.
Oregon’s latest opponent, Illinois, didn’t fall down too much as they dropped three spots to No. 24 after being manhandled by the Ducks to the tune of a 38-9 score.
Washington State appears in the poll once again, but Vanderbilt and Navy both dropped out. Here’s the complete poll.
