Four-star Oregon Ducks quarterback signee Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele will enter the NCAA transfer portal just weeks after signing and enrolling with the Ducks.
The Georgia Bulldogs expressed interest in the talented quarterback before he committed to Oregon. Kirby Smart and UGA could be a team to watch as Georgia looks to mold its future quarterback room.
Sagapolutele played high school football for James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. The talented passer originally committed committed to the California Bears, but flipped to Oregon late in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Sagapolutele is ranked as the top recruit in Hawaii in the class of 2025. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound quarterback is the eighth-ranked player at his position in the 2025 cycle. The Hawaii standout is the No. 106 recruit in the nation, per 247Sports.
UGA has signed four-star quarterback recruit Ryan Montgomery, who has missed most of his high school senior season with an injury. Georgia is seeking a replacement plan for quarterback Carson Beck, who is expected to enter the 2025 NFL draft. The Bulldogs could roll with Gunner Stockton or look elsewhere including via the transfer portal.
