Oregon moves up in US LBM Coaches poll after convincing win at UCLA

Oregon moved up one spot in the US LBM Coaches poll on Sunday.

Everyone knew, one way or another, that the coaches’ poll would shift after the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide faced off against the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs.

The Crimson Tide won 41-34 and took the Bulldogs’ place as the No. 2 team in the nation. Texas, with their easy win over Mississippi State, remained at No. 1.

With all of the changes up top and Oregon’s easy 34-13 win over UCLA, the Ducks moved up a spot and are now No. 6 in the country with Michigan State up next.

Another big drop fell to Ole Miss, who were victims of an upset as they lost at home to Kentucky. The Rebels fell from No. 5 all the way out of the Top 10 to No. 11.

But it was Utah who holds the honors for the biggest drop in the poll as the Utes were shocked by Arizona as the Wildcats went into Salt Lake City and came away with a 23-10 victory over their former Pac-12 and now Big XII rivals.

Here’s the entire poll.
