The Oregon Ducks have been hot on the recruiting trail over the past month, hosting some of the top-ranked players in the nation on visits to Eugene for a pair of junior days that ended the month of January.
A week after the most recent, chickens started coming home to roost.
On Friday night, 4-star EDGE Matthew Johnson announced that he would be committing to the Ducks, becoming Oregon’s fifth member of the 2025 class, and the first addition on the defensive side of the ball.
Going into the weekend, the Ducks’ 2025 class had ranked No. 12 in the nation, led by 4-star QB Akili Smith Jr. and dynamic WRs Dallas Wilson and Adrian Wilson.
