One of the best players in the 2025 class is set to come off of the board in the coming days, and the Oregon Ducks are in the running to land him.
On Thursday afternoon, five-star tight end Linkon Cure announced he planned to announce his commitment on July 1 at 2 p.m. PT. Cure will be deciding among Oregon, Kansas State, Kansas and Texas A&M.
Standing 6 feet, 6 inches and 220 pounds, Cure is one of the most dominant offensive players in the 2025 class. He is the No. 26 player overall and No. 2 TE in the cycle.
After recently taking an official visit to Oregon, Cure spoke highly of Eugene and the Ducks, but it still might be an uphill battle for Dan Lanning to land his commitment. At this point, Cure is projected to go to Kansas State, his hometown team. The Wildcats have five crystal ball predictions on 247Sports.
We’ll see if Lanning and his staff can make one final swing in the next couple of days and sway the momentum.
