Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are winning on the field and on the recruiting trail.
After a masterful 32-31 victory over Ohio State, the second-ranked Ducks picked up another big-time victory on Sunday. They landed a commitment from four-star defensive lineman Tomuhini Topui, the No. 96 player and No. 8 defensive lineman in the 2026 class.
With the commitment, Oregon’s 2026 class moved into the No. 1 spot in the national rankings. It has six commitments, five of whom are blue-chippers ranked inside the top 130 nationally.
The class is headlined by five-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene, and bolstered by four-star running back Tradarian Ball, four-star quarterback Jonas Williams and four-star defensive lineman Tony Cumberland. Dan Lanning is clearly building one of the strongest recruiting classes of his career, and he’s using wins like Saturday’s in Autzen Stadium to do so.
The Ducks are in position to make a monumental run in both the 2024 season and on the recruiting trail.
Fifty-two recruits were on campus Saturday night, and we likely aren’t done seeing commitments come in from those in attendance.
