Oregon Ducks take over No. 1 spot in 2026 recruiting rankings after latest commitment

Oregon moves into the No. 1 spot in the 2026 recruiting rankings.

Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are winning on the field and on the recruiting trail.

After a masterful 32-31 victory over Ohio State, the No. 2 ranked Ducks picked up another big-time victory on Sunday, landing a commitment from 4-star defensive lineman Tomuhini Topui, the No. 96 player and No. 8 defensive lineman in the 2026 class.

With the commitment, Oregon’s 2026 class moved into the No. 1 spot in the national rankings, with a total of six commitments, five of whom are blue-chippers ranked inside the top 130 in the nation.

Headlined by 5-star OT Kodi Greene, and buoyed by 4-star RB Tradarian Ball, 4-star QB Jonas Williams, and 4-star DL Tony Cumberland, Dan Lanning is clearly building one of the strongest recruiting classes of his career, and he’s using wins like we saw in Autzen Stadium on Saturday night to do so.

The Ducks are now in position to make a monumental run in both the 2024 season, and on the recruiting trail.

There were a total of 52 recruits on campus in Eugene on Saturday night, and we likely aren’t done seeing commitments come in for those who were in attendance.
