Oregon Ducks flip 4-star TE from Washington Huskies

The Oregon Ducks flipped 4-star Washington Huskies tight end Vander Ploog in the 2025 class on Sunday.

Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks added another valuable player to the 2025 recruiting class and at a major position of need.

On top of that, they stole the player from rival Washington Huskies, making the commitment that much sweeter.

On Sunday afternoon, four-star tight end Vander Ploog announced he would flip his commitment from Washington to Oregon, joining the Ducks’ top-10  class.

Ploog is the No. 242 player and the No. 12 tight end in the class. He joins a group of incredibly talented pass-catchers in the class, headlined by five-star wide receivers Dakorien Moore and Dallas Wilson.

This is not the only tight end the Ducks are trying to flip in 2025: Their top target is Kansas State commit Linkon Cure.

Cure was expected in Eugene this past weekend for a visit, but inclement weather postponed his trip.
