Oregon Ducks break out new ‘Fly Era’ uniforms for blackout game vs. Ohio State

The Oregon Ducks have unveiled their new all-black ‘Fly Era’ uniforms for Saturday’s showdown against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Oregon Ducks are pulling out all of the stops for this weekend’s game against the Ohio State Buckeyes, breaking out one of the most highly-anticipated uniform combinations in recent Oregon history.

With ESPN’s College GameDay in town, the Ducks announced on Wednesday that they would be debuting the all-black ‘Fly Era’ uniforms for a black-out game on Saturday night. These were the first uniforms that were unveiled in the ‘Generation O’ line earlier this summer, and feature several nods to past Oregon uniforms like diamond plating and shoulder wings.

This will be a massive showdown on Saturday afternoon, with the No. 3 Ducks hosting the No. 2 Buckeyes in what will be one of the most anticipated games of the year.

There’s a chance that it could be the first of two, or potentially three meetings between the schools this year, should they both make it to the Big Ten Championship Game and square off in the College Football Playoff as well.

Kick-off is scheduled for 4:36 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, aired on NBC.
