Oregon Ducks 5-star WR Dakorien Moore named MVP of Under Armour All-American Game

Oregon Ducks 5-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore was named the Under Armour NEXT All-American Game MVP on Thursday.

Vibes may be low in Eugene at the moment, but the future is undoubtedly bright for the Oregon Ducks.

After three straight top-10-ranked recruiting classes, the Ducks’ roster is loaded with young talent in 2025, and one of the best players on next year’s team may be coming in as a true freshman.

That true freshman is former 5-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore, who put on a show Thursday afternoon in the Under Armour NEXT All-American game, winning the MVP award.

Moore, the No. 1 WR in the 2025 class and the No. 8 overall player in the nation, had an 83-yard punt return for a touchdown in the All-American game to steal the show in a game featuring some of the best players in the nation. He would finish the game with 136 all-purpose yards.

The Ducks are hoping that Moore can come in next year and provide an instant impact on the offense, much like we’ve seen from Alabama Crimson Tide freshman Ryan Williams and Ohio State Buckeyes freshman Jeremiah Smith. With players like Tez Johnson, Traeshon Holden, and potentially Evan Stewart departing, Oregon will need new production to step up at the position.
