There is only one Carolina Panthers player who has earned a spot amongst the top of 10 his position in the first returns for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games voting. And that, with the team sitting at 3-9, shouldn’t really be much of a surprise.
It’s the identity of said Carolina Panthers player, rather, that may be a shock.
Running back Raheem Blackshear, as of Monday, has garnered the third-most votes in the return specialist category. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver KaVonte Turpin and Arizona Cardinals running back DeeJay Dallas are just above Blackshear at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.

Blackshear, thanks to Carolina’s league-worst defense, has fielded the most kickoffs in the NFL this season. His 27 returns have resulted in the second-most combined yardage (679) and the seventh-highest yards per attempt (25.15).
The 26-year-old is in his third season with the Panthers.
