One weekend into offseason, Stefon Diggs was already talking Super Bowl

Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs was talking about the Super Bowl this past weekend.

The final image image of wide receiver Stefon Diggs from 2020 for many in Buffalo had little to do with him on the field. Instead, it’s what the Bills wide receiver did following his team’s final game.

When the Bills lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, 38-24, in the AFC Championship game, everyone left the field… except for Diggs. He hung around for awhile on the sideline watching the Chiefs celebrate. Diggs was clearly emotional after the way things played out.

Anyone thinking Diggs was just doing that just for show was proven wrong this past weekend.

After the Tampa Bay Bucs topped the Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Feb. 7, this past Sunday was our first one without football. Many NFL players were probably taking some more time to unplug, relax, and pretty much not think about football. This was not the case for Diggs.

The Bills’ No. 1 wide receiver took to his social media account on Twitter and showed how football is still very much on his mind. He’s still wanting a Super Bowl:

Once thought of as a guy that was a bad player in the locker room… Diggs has very much put that idea to rest just one year into his Buffalo career. What more could you want from one of your star players one weekend into the NFL offseason?
