One photo had NBA fans understanding why Lou Williams went to a strip club for wings

NOW, it makes sense.

In one of the stranger stories to come out of the NBA bubble, Clippers guard Lou Williams was hit with a 10-day quarantine after social media posts showed him at the Atlanta strip club, Magic City.

Williams was given permission to leave the bubble to attend his grandfather’s funeral over the weekend, but after being spotted in a photo at Magic City with rapper Jack Harlow, the Clippers guard faced scrutiny from both fans and former players — even though Williams said he was only at Magic City to get food.

At face value, the excuse of “I went to a strip club for wings” seems farfetched. But it only took one photo of the wings at Magic City to have plenty of NBA fans totally understanding why Williams made a stop for the food.

I mean, those wings look absolutely phenomenal.

Williams has said in the past that Magic City was his favorite restaurant in Atlanta, and he might have actually been serious. There’s no doubting how delicious those wings look. Plus, Magic City Kitchen even added “LouWill Lemon Pepper BBQ” wings to its menu.

After that photo, NBA fans were willing to take a 10-day quarantine for those wings.

It still wasn’t the best decision, Lou, but we at least understand now.
