Texas is emerging as the heavy favorite to land five-star cornerback Kobe Black.
The nation’s No. 3 cornerback in the 2024 recruiting class received an On3 prediction from Inside Texas’ Gerry Hamilton on Sunday. The newly entered prediction increases the Longhorns’ chances to land Black to 90.2%.
Landing a commitment from a player of Black’s caliber would provide much needed momentum for Texas’ 2024 class. As it sits currently, Steve Sarkisian’s 2024 class consists of three commitments in four-star quarterback Trey Owens, four-star athlete Hunter Moddon and punter Michael Kern.
