On why the Boston Celtics will get the Jaylen Brown supermax extension done

All signs point to the negotiation process ending well for both sides.

The ongoing supermax contract negotiation with NBA player Jaylen Brown, valued at potentially over $304 million, has generated concern over the delay in finalizing the deal. But all signs point to the negotiation process ending well for both sides, which is to be expected, given the significant financial implications for Brown and Boston.

Brown is in Spain for a National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) event as one of the organization’s vice presidents. While some fans may worry about the delay, this trip was planned and is not a sign of the Celtics star being disinterested in the negotiation process.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “A-List” podcast recently sat down to talk over all of the above. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear their thoughts on where Brown’s extension talks delay stands.
