On Friday night at TD Garden, the Boston Celtics put together a commanding 29-point victory against the Utah Jazz, winning 126-97 in a wire-to-wire affair. All-NBA Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, in particular, stood out for the Celtics in the blowout win, putting up a game-high 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, with star big man Kristaps Porzingis adding another 19 points, and 5 boards.

The Celtics’ defensive efforts were cohesive and engaged with all five starters blocking a shot in the game’s first half. On the perimeter, the Celtics limited the Jazz to just 17.6% from beyond the arc and 36.2 from the floor overall in one of their better performances on that end of the court so far this season.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast weighed in on the beatdown of the Jazz postgame.
