OL EIijah Wilkinson heads to IR with neck injury

Wilkinson, who started at left guard for the Cardinals’ first six games, will be out until at least Thanksgiving.

The Arizona Cardinals announced a few roster moves on Saturday in preparation for their Week 8 home matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. One puts offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson out of commission for at least a month.

They placed Wilkinson on injured reserve with a neck injury. He missed last week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks after getting hurt during the week.

He started the first six games of the season at left guard.

With this move, he will miss at least the games against the Ravens, Browns, Falcons and Steelers.

He could return at the earliest when the Cardinal host the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12.
