Joe Mixon’s value as a fantasy football running back just went through the roof.

The Cincinnati Bengals have the first pick in the 2019 draft and they selected Joe Burrow from LSU. The 2020 Heisman Trophy winner had one of the greatest seasons in college history.

Burrow threw for 5,671 yards on a 76,3 completion percentage and had 60 touchdowns only six interceptions in 2019. He has the capability of staying the pocket and he had no problem dumping passes off to running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

In his second and third seasons in Cincinnati, Mixon rushed for over 1,000 yards in both years. His threat out of the backfield as a pass-catcher hasn’t been utilized in the way it was at Oklahoma quite yet, but that could be changing rather quick.

The Bengals went 2-14 in 2019 and 6-10 in 2018. Mixon has helped as much as he could, but he may be the biggest benefactor in all of this.
