Oklahoma up one spot to No. 18 in latest AP Poll Top 25

Oklahoma has jumped up one spot to No. 18 in the latest AP Poll after their huge blowout win over Kansas.

Oklahoma decimated Kansas yesterday by a final score of 62-9 to improve to 5-2 on the season and 4-2 in Big 12 play.

The win was good enough to slide the Sooners up one spot from 19th to No. 18 in the latest AP Poll Top 25.

There is a new No. 1 team at the top with Alabama assuming the throne after Clemson’s loss to Notre Dame Saturday night.

Rounding out the top five is Notre Dame at No. 2, followed by Ohio State at No. 3, Clemson down to No. 4, and then Texas A&M to finish it off at No. 5.

Other Big 12 teams in the poll include Oklahoma State at No. 14, Iowa State at No. 17, and Texas at No. 21.

Oklahoma will now have the week off before a top 25 clash in Bedlam against the in-state rival Cowboys.
