Oklahoma still outside AP Poll Top 25 after week off

The Oklahoma Sooners are still unranked in the AP Poll Top 25 after having the week off on Saturday.

Oklahoma slipped unranked in the AP Poll for the first time since 2016 after their loss to Iowa State a couple of weeks ago.

The Sooners remained there following their win over Texas the next week, and now will continue to stay outside the top 25 for at least another week after having a bye on Saturday.

Oklahoma is the second team out in the “others receiving votes” category just behind the Memphis Tigers.

Clemson stays at No. 1 after slaughtering Georgia Tech on Saturday, with the top five being rounded out by Alabama, Notre Dame, Georgia, and Ohio State.

The Big 12 teams in the rankings include Oklahoma State at No. 6, Iowa State at No. 17, and Kansas State at No. 20.

The Texas Longhorns also received one top 25 vote.

Next up for the Sooners will be a trip to Fort Worth next weekend to take on TCU.
