Oklahoma stays unranked after bye week in Amway Coaches Poll

Oklahoma did not jump back into the Top 25 in the Amway Coaches Poll after having the week off.

Oklahoma is a team that is not used to being without a ranking in front of their name, but that’s how it will stay for at least one more week in the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA Today Sports.

The Sooners are the fifth team out in the “others receiving votes” group behind Auburn, Army, West Virginia, and Kentucky.

Clemson stays at No. 1 after their pulverizing win over Georgia Tech.

The top five is rounded out by Alabama, Notre Dame, Georgia, and Ohio State.

Other Big 12 teams in the rankings include Oklahoma State at No. 6, Iowa State at No. 18, and Kansas State at No. 19.

TCU, Oklahoma’s opponent next week, also received some votes but still has a lot of teams to climb over as they are the 15th team out.
