Oklahoma stays put at No. 13 in AP Poll after win over Baylor

Oklahoma remains at No. 13 in the AP Poll after their 27-14 win over Baylor Saturday night in Norman.

Oklahoma ran their win streak up to six games Saturday night with a 27-14 win over Baylor in their home finale.

The Sooners were led by their defense who has continually progressed in the second year under Alex Grinch. The win officially clinched their spot in the Big 12 Championship Game for the fourth straight year as they’ll take on Iowa State in a rematch in a couple of weeks.

Despite the victory to extend the winning streak, Oklahoma did not make a move in the AP Poll Top 25 as they stayed put at No. 13.

Remaining at the top spot is Alabama after their 55-17 domination of LSU Saturday night in Baton Rouge.

The rest of the top five also remains the same with Notre Dame, Ohio State, Clemson and Texas A&M filling out spots two through five.

There are two other Big 12 teams in the rankings with Iowa State at No. 10 and Texas at No. 23. Oklahoma State fell unranked after their road loss to TCU.

The Sooners will end their regular season in Morgantown as they travel to face West Virginia next Saturday.
