Oklahoma Sooners offer No. 1 recruit from the state of Kansas

Oklahoma recently offered the No. 1 recruit from the state of Kansas.

The Oklahoma Sooners were back on the recruiting trail and this time they are targeting the No. 1 player in the state of Kansas. Jaren Kanak announced via his Twitter account that he received a scholarship offer from OU. Kanak is viewed as a potential signee for the Clemson Tigers.

Kanak is a two-sport star with football and track and field. He plays strong side linebacker and wide receiver for Hays. Kanak has good hands and shows his track speed when running his routes. He also shows good hands and ball tracking skills with the ball in the air.

He would likely play on the defensive side of the ball based on the recruiters who are heavily trying to chase down his commitment. He likely could play safety in the box for the Sooners as an extra linebacker. He will be one recruit to monitor going forward.
