The Oklahoma Sooners are hoping to land one of the best wide receivers in the [autotag]2026 recruiting class[/autotag] after issuing an offer to five-star prospect Tristen Keys.
Offered earlier this week, the Sooners are among some of the sport’s elites in their pursuit of the talented prospect out of Mississippi.
Keys is ranked as the No. 4 player in the 2026 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports and the No. 1 wide receiver. Over at On3, he’s the No. 9 wide receiver and the No. 2 player in the class.
The first thing that stands out about Tristen Keys is his fantastic hands. He displays great grip strength and route running. Keys displays great footwork at the top of his routes to create separation and has the speed to run away from the defenders. He’s able to create yards after the catch at every level of the passing game. Keys is a physical runner that is willing to take on defenders but can also make people miss in the open field.
A little more than a year out from the 2026 early signing period, Keys is going to see his offer sheet continue to grow. He’s an incredible talent that will make whatever team he signs with a lot better.
According to 247Sports, Tennessee appears to be the early leader, with a crystal ball prediction from national recruiting analyst Tom Loy.
