Oklahoma rises one spot in AP Poll to No. 13 after unexpected bye week

Oklahoma moves up one spot to No. 13 in the AP Poll after have an unexpected week off on Saturday.

Oklahoma had the week off unexpectedly on Saturday after their game against West Virginia was postponed to Dec. 12th after some positive COVID-19 tests among the team.

Remaining as the No. 1 team in the nation is Alabama after they dominated rival Auburn in the Iron Bowl Saturday afternoon 42-13.

The rest of the top five also remains unchanged with Notre Dame, Ohio State, Clemson and Texas A&M rounding things out.

Other Big 12 teams in the poll includes Iowa State at No. 12 (leap-frogging Oklahoma) and Oklahoma State at No. 19. Texas fell out of the top 25 after losing to the Cyclones on Friday afternoon.

The Sooners are slated to return to action next on Saturday against Baylor in their final home game of the season.
