Oklahoma returned 16 players from its depth chart from Missouri State game for Kansas State

Oklahoma’s depth appears to be in much better shape for their conference opener against Kansas State, returning 16 different players

After trotting out on the field with a depth chart that was missing about 20 different players two weeks ago in the season opener, Oklahoma appears to be in much better shape for their conference opener against Kansas State.

Sixteen players have returned to action this weekend. The only players missing from Saturday’s game unexpectedly are red-shirt senior wide receiver Obi Obialo and true freshman quarterback Kendall Dennis. Obialo was also out during OU’s season opener against Missouri State.

Among the players that are returning this week: running back T.J. Pledger, kicker Gabe Brkic, tackle Anton Harrison, guard Andrew Raym, nose guard Kori Roberson, free safety Justin Broiles.

While OU likely wasn’t exactly rushing guys to get back for this game, it’s certainly a good sign to see some semblance of normalcy from anything these days, even if it’s just a college football depth chart.

OU was never going to make a run at a sixth-straight Big 12 title unless they were at full strength. Well here they are.
