Oklahoma offensive lineman Creed Humphrey has been named the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year for the second consecutive season.
The redshirt junior has been a leader on the team this season as a team captain and as the steady force on an offensive line that experienced some early struggles this season before kicking it into a different gear in the second half of the year.
This the fifth straight season that a Sooner has earned this honor after Orlando Brown won it in both 2016 and 2017, Dru Samia got it 2018 and Humphrey won it last season.
Oklahoma offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh has built up one of the most consistent units on any program in the country so it is not hard to see why he continues to bring in quality talent with each recruiting class. Just this week he brought in another four-star offensive tackle in Savion Byrd.
Humphrey will get the opportunity to assert himself even further on Saturday as the Sooners head to Arlington for a date with Iowa State in the Big 12 Championship Game.
