Oklahoma basketball is in the early stages under the new coaching regime led by Porter Moser and things are already moving along. On the same day he was officially introduced, Moser landed the commitment of three-star point guard Alston Mason. Now, on Saturday, the Sooners have officially put out an offer to four-star center Jonas Aidoo from Liberty Heights Athletic Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Aidoo has already received a medley of other offers with Kansas and West Virginia being the other Big 12 programs in the running to land him. Some other notable offers include Alabama, Marquette, Houston and Tennessee. He was actually previously committed to the Golden Eagles, but decommitted back in March when coach Steve Wojciechowski was let go.
Big men underneath has been an Achilles heel for Oklahoma in recent seasons, so Moser finding a way to get ahold of a strong one right out of the gates would be a pretty big win. Aidoo would be a very nice pickup should they manage to land him.

There should be much ado about Jonas Aidoo (2021). The athletic 7-footer fuses post play, the ability to stretch the floor, and feel for the game together nicely
