Oklahoma LB Kenneth Murray has formal interview with Packers at combine

The Packers met formally with star Oklahoma LB Kenneth Murray at the NFL Scouting Combine.

One of the top inside linebackers in the 2020 draft class met with the Green Bay Packers for a formal interview during the NFL Scouting Combine.

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray said his first interview was with the Packers, who desperately need help at inside linebacker.

Many have pegged Murray as one of the top two or three off-ball linebacker prospects in the 2020 class and an ideal fit with the Packers.

Murray, who weighed in at 241 pounds with an 80″ wingspan, said he plans to “dominate” the combine. With an abundance of speed and explosiveness, the Oklahoma star could easily become one of the defensive standouts in Indianapolis.

Our breakdown of Murray revealed a linebacker with a blend of play speed, length and violence. Everything the Packers need at the position, Murray can offer.

It’s possible Murray will make himself a top-25 lock by the time the combine is over. The Packers hold the 30th overall pick.
