Oklahoma has busy week sending out new offers, including 13 over last three days

The Oklahoma Sooners staff was busy on Friday as they extended 13 offers to recruits in the 2022 and 2023 recruiting classes.

The second National Signing Day is approaching for Lincoln Riley and the Oklahoma Sooners staff.

While there is still work to be done with the 2021 recruiting class that is currently ranked No. 10 by 247Sports composite rankings, 2022 work is already in full swing. On Friday, the Sooners were busy with 12 offers going out to class members. One prospect from the 2023 class was also extended an offer.

There wasn’t just one position that the Sooners were focused on as running back, wide receiver, defensive end, defensive tackle, and cornerback were positions of priority with these offers.

The highest-rated player targeted by the staff was Emmanuel Henderson of Alabama. The five-star running back has caught the eye of Sooners running back coach DeMarco Murray. Henderson is the No. 1 running back in the country and he is set to commit on March 13.
