Caleb Williams won’t stop.

The five-star Oklahoma quarterback commit has been recruiting for the Sooners non-stop since his commitment on July 4. Williams can be thanked for Oklahoma’s continued surge on the recruiting trail heading into National Signing Day in 16 days.

He and his family hosted their own recruiting visit weekend in Aug. that has helped Oklahoma in the running for five-star offensive tackle Tristan Leigh, five-star running back Camar Wheaton and four-star offensive tackle Savion Byrd. Williams has already moved to Norman, Oklahoma, ahead of his signing to Oklahoma on Dec. 16, too.

The five-star quarterback has already attended one Sooners’ game whenever Kansas came to town. Now? Williams is going to be in attendance for the final home game against Baylor and is looking for others to join him there.

“A few of the recruits texted our group chat saying they want to go to the Baylor game since we’re not able to be with the coaches and go on officials, things like that,” Williams wrote in his weekly blog. “A few of the commits said they wanted to go to the game and I’ll be back in town so I’ll already be there. Be on the look out for some of the guys and hopefully a few big names come.”

“I don’t wanna get your hopes up, but hopefully they come. We’re planning on just having a good time. It’s always fun to go to a football game but it’s a little bit more fun to watch your future team go win some games. A few of us will be there and it should be fun.”

Since it is a recruiting dead period, no coaches will be able to be make face-to-face contact with recruits or tour them around campus and the facilities.

Oklahoma is scheduled to play Baylor at 7 p.m. CT on FOX.
