After a slow start to the season, No. 19 Oklahoma has seemingly hit their stride coming off of a dominating 62-28 win over Texas Tech on Saturday.
The Sooner offense looked the best it has this season, flying down the field with regularity to build a huge first half lead that allowed the majority of the starters to take the second half off.
Oklahoma’s defense performed quite well too, forcing three turnovers and never allowing the Red Raiders to get any kind of rhythm offensively until the late stages of the game when it had been long decided.
All in all, it has to be considered the best performance we’ve seen from the Sooners so far this year. With the schedule lightening up considerably down the stretch, it would appear Oklahoma is in good shape to try and climb back into the Big 12 title picture if they can get help elsewhere around the conference.
