On Saturday at the Oklahoma vs. TCU game, Oklahoma fans signed an Oklahoma flag with words of encouragement and mailed the flag to Tagovailoa.
Jalen Hurts, the former Alabama quarterback who is now the starter at Oklahoma, is good friends with Tagovailoa, and had these words to say when he found out about Tagovailoa’s injury:

Tagovailoa is not only going down in history as one of the greatest quarterbacks in Alabama and NCAA history, but he’s also one of the most respected quarterbacks in the country, by fans all over the world.
When you have a quarterback who is full of class, humility, leadership, and character, you can’t help but love him. Tagovailoa’s injury was tragic and devastating, but it’s also shown that at the end of the day, football is truly more than just a game.
