Oklahoma basketball’s Austin Reaves named to 2020 Preseason All-Big 12 team

With less than a month to go before the start of the season, Oklahoma basketball’s Austin Reaves has been named preseason All-Big 12.

College basketball season is quickly approaching, with schedules being finalized earlier this week. Now, it’s preseason all-conference team season.

For Oklahoma, senior guard Austin Reaves has been named to the preseason All-Big 12 team as voted on by the league’s coaches.

Reaves was top-10 in the Big 12 in scoring last season and was one of just two players to average at least 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists. The other being Baylor’s Jared Butler who was voted the Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year.

The All-Big 12 team is rounded out by Butler, Marcus Garrett (Kansas), Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State), Matt Coleman III (Texas), and Oscar Tshiebwe (West Virginia).

Reaves and Oklahoma will open their season in less than a month at home against the UTSA Roadrunners on November 25th.
