Oklahoma lost by 21 (75-54) at Iowa State Saturday. The loss marked OU’s worst since Dec. 12, 2020 (to Xavier by 22 points). The Sooners head into this tilt in Lubbock having lost three in a row and six of their last seven. Opponents have shot 50.5% over that seven-game stretch.
The Raiders sport the best defense in the Big 12, and that defense has helped propel them to a 6-1 record since Jan. 29. Over that stretch, Texas Tech has held foes to a 38.1% mark from the floor. Included in those victories of late were games against solid offensive teams Texas (twice) and Baylor. But the lone loss was to these Sooners: OU defeated TTU 70-55 Feb. 9.
