There is a ton of momentum to having a 2020 college football season these days. No definite signs, yet, but the season would start three and a half months from now.

Sooners Wire will be creating player cards for readers to be introduced to the 2020 roster.

Here is the No. 6 on Oklahoma’s roster.

Name: Tre Brown

Number: No. 6

Year: Senior

Position: Cornerback

Hometown: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Height/Weight: 5-foot-10, 185 pounds

Brown will be the most experienced on the roster in 2020.

A composite four-star recruit out of Tulsa, Brown had 19 offers from Division I schools, including Alabama, Oregon, Florida, Nebraska, Penn State and Texas. After some interest in Alabama and Florida, he ultimately committed to Oklahoma in March of 2016.

He has played in 41 games for the Sooners, amassing 91 total tackles and breaking up 26 passes.

As a freshman in 2017, Brown finished with just 10 solo tackles, playing in 14 games. The next year he played one less game, but significantly boosted his production, finishing with 49 solo tackles.
