The Oklahoma City Thunder will open the 2022-23 regular season on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 19, per NBA reporter Dane Moore.
This game will mark the NBA debut of Minnesota native Chet Holmgren. For the Timberwolves, this will mark the team debut of Rudy Gobert, whom the team acquired from the Utah Jazz for a massive haul of draft picks.
Other Thunder scheduling news leaked is the team will play on the road against the Houston Rockets on Nov. 26 on NBA TV, per The Athletic’s Kelly Iko.
The full schedule for the Thunder will be released on Wednesday.
