The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Friday that they have signed guard Kevin Kangu onto the 2022 summer league roster.
Kangu will be able to play games in Las Vegas, Nevada with the team. Kangu, who was born in Canada, spent three seasons in college between Oakland and Lenoir-Rhyne.
In 64 career college games, Kangu averaged 4.2 points, 2.2 assists and 1.6 rebounds on 31.2 percent shooting.
The Thunder are currently scheduled to play four games in Las Vegas between July 9-15. Kangu is likely just a summer league body who will absorb minutes. Best case scenario for him is to impress enough to receive an invitation for training camp.
