The Oklahoma City Thunder concluded a busy weekend of G League assignments by recalling rookie lottery forward Ousmane Dieng.
Dieng was first assigned to the Blue on Friday. Dieng was recalled and active for the Thunder during their overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday but did not play.
As Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault previously explained, Dieng was assigned to the G League’s Oklahoma City Blue for a second time in three days on Sunday to give him practice time.
Hours later, the Thunder recalled Dieng.
Fellow rookie forward Jaylin Williams was also assigned to the Blue on Sunday but did not get recalled with Dieng.
