Many times in the past season, when the spotlight shined the brightest, Duane Washington elevated to another level for Ohio State. It seems he has done the same at the NBA G League Elite Camp this past weekend as well, as we have learned Washington has earned an invite to the NBA Draft combine.
Both Washington and teammate E.J. Liddell spent the weekend in Chicago doing their best to showcase their skill at the Elite Camp. While Liddell didn’t have his best performance, Washington was lighting up the scoreboard and making highlight-reel plays.
In two games, the OSU junior guard averaged 15.5 points. He showed NBA range from three, was able to get to the basket, and got teammates involved as well.

Most believe that Liddell and Washington would do well with another year of college under their belt. However, it looks like Washington now has a lot more thought to put into his decision.
Washington will stay in Chicago as the draft combine runs from June 21-27. A final decision will have to made soon as July 7 is the deadline to declare for the draft or withdraw your name from consideration.
