Key Player For Ohio State
Duane Washington Jr. We already saw it against Indiana. While Washington’s role has been one of a shooter and scorer on the perimeter, he’s been asked to take some of the point duties while D.J. Carton is getting the help he needs off the court. He did pretty well against the Hoosiers, but it’ll need to be a trend rather than a one-game showing.
Carton's loss, for however long, is obviously a blow to Ohio State but it's great he's addressing whatever ails him. In the meantime, Ohio State will need more consistency from Duane Washington as a primary scorer and secondary ball-handler.

He has to have a different mindset of bringing the ball up and looking for others rather than shooting off the dribble and allowing run-outs. C.J. Walker is still the main ball-handler, but Washington is the other guy that’s going to get plenty of time there. Most importantly, take care of the basketball.
How It’ll All Go Down
As much as I’d like to think this team has turned it around after two straight wins, it’s a different beast going to Ann Arbor and winning. The Wolverines will be ready with a lathered up crowd to knock off Ohio State in the only meeting this year. If the Buckeyes can pull this one out, it’ll be huge, but I’m just not sure this team is tough enough yet to win one in the type of environment it’s going to see. Look for Michigan to pull away as the game goes on.
