Ohio State and Iowa are putting on an offensive display in Iowa City, Iowa. The Buckeyes got out to a hot start, leading by as much as eight, but the Hawkeyes reeled OSU back in and went into the locker room up 45-42 thanks in large part to a 7-of-14 from beyond the arc.
Justice Sueing leads Ohio State with ten points on 4-of-7 shooting. He’s been able to get penetration in the lane and knock down some high percentage shots. E.J. Liddell and Duane Washington are second in scoring with seven points apiece.
The game has been a fun up and down affair to watch with most of the stats pretty even aside from the three-point shooting. The Buckeyes haven’t allowed Luka Garza to go off, have matched the Hawkeyes in taking care of the ball and turnovers, just haven’t been able to get the volume of shots to go down from deep like the Hawkeyes.

If you’re an Ohio State fan, there’s a lot of good to build on here. If OSU can play a similar half and Iowa slows down from bombing away with accuracy from deep, you have to feel good about how things might play out.
Twenty more minutes to go in snowy Iowa City. First team to 90 wins?
